Plan production · Licensed PEs
AI-powered plan production, built for civil engineers
Pocos helps licensed civil engineers move from survey to submittal with grounded precision — rooted in the same coastal-plain rigor as the land you design on.
Why Pocos
Built around how engineers actually read a plan set
Reads the drawing, not just the text
Survey maps and plan sets are visual documents. Pocos sends the actual PDF to a vision model, so linework, legends, scale bars, and annotations are part of the review.
A structured first pass in minutes
Every run comes back in the same shape — document type, key elements, notable observations, and suggested follow-ups — so you know where to look first.
You remain the engineer of record
Nothing Pocos produces is submittal-ready. It is a draft review that expects your judgment, your redlines, and your stamp before anything leaves the office.
How it works
From PDF to review in three steps
01
Upload the sheet
Drop in a survey map, site plan, or grading sheet. PDFs up to 4 MB render on screen immediately, page by page.
02
Set the review prompt
Start from the default civil review prompt and edit it for the job in front of you — or ask for one specific thing.
03
Read the analysis
The review streams in beside the document, so you can check every point against the drawing as it arrives.
Inside the workspace
The document and the review, side by side
Analysis
Document type
Boundary survey plat — single sheet, graphic scale and north arrow present.
Key elements
Parcel boundary with bearings and distances, a building pad envelope, and a dashed easement along the north line.
Suggested follow-ups
Confirm the easement width against the recorded plat before it carries into the site plan
FAQ
Questions engineers ask
Is the output ready to submit?
No. Everything Pocos produces is a draft review — not sealed, stamped, or checked work. A licensed PE has to review it and take responsibility for anything that leaves the office.
What files can I upload?
PDF only, up to 4 MB per document. Survey maps, site plans, and grading sheets are the intended cases. CAD formats are not supported yet.
Is my document stored anywhere?
No. The file stays in your browser until you run an analysis, and it is not persisted on our servers afterward. Saved projects and history are planned, not built.
Which model reads the plan?
Google Gemini by default, with the provider configurable. We are still benchmarking models against real survey maps and plan sets before locking a production default.
Who is Pocos for?
Licensed civil engineers and land development professionals — people already responsible for the plan set who want a faster first pass over it.
Put it to work on a real plan set
Upload a sheet you already know well and see what the first pass catches. No account setup, no files stored.
